Holiday World Photography Campaign

Photography that doesn't just show a theme park. It captures the exact moment a family forgets everything else exists.

The Challenge

Theme park photography has a sameness problem.

Wide shots of coasters. Families posing at the gate. It's fine. It's also what every park in the country is running.

Holiday World needed photography that works everywhere they do: billboards from Nashville to Indianapolis to Louisville, seasonal campaigns, social, and the park's website. One brief across all of it: make families feel something before they ever buy a ticket.

Our Approach

Faces first. Rides second.

Faces First, Rides Second

Build every shot around expressions. The scream at the top of the drop. The kid whose arms are up before anyone else's. The rides are the setting, but the human moment is always the subject.

The Holiday World Sky

The park sits in the rolling hills of Santa Claus, Indiana, and on a summer day the clouds stack up like a painting. We treat that sky as a character. A coaster cresting the hill against it stops feeling like an ad and starts feeling like a moment you want in on.

Real Families, Real Moments

No posed photos. Real families, real experiences, and the moments in between that can't be faked. A daughter glancing at her mom at the top of The Voyage. Every hand in the air on The Raven.

The Work

Three Worlds, One Library

01

Thrill Rides

Cameras mounted on the rides themselves, positioned at the crest of the hill, framed to catch both the riders' faces and the park stretching out behind them. The Voyage, The Raven, The Legend. Each coaster has its own personality.

02

Splashin' Safari

Brighter, more colorful, more relaxed. Raft rides, slide races, candy-colored compositions that feel like summer itself. These are the images that work hardest on social.

03

The In-Between Moments

A kid pointing at something. A family sharing a funnel cake. Golden hour light between attractions. The quieter shots that give the library range beyond adrenaline.

Where It Lives

This photography doesn't sit in a folder. It works.

Billboards on the corridors between Nashville, Indianapolis, and Louisville. Seasonal campaigns, social, email, and holidayworld.com. Each image is composed for that range: tight enough to read on a phone, bold enough to stop traffic on the interstate.

See the billboard on I-65, visit the website that night, and the feeling is the same: real families, real joy, a day that's worth the drive.

The Result

"A great photo doesn't show people what a place looks like. It shows them what it feels like to be there."

If your brand needs photography that works as hard on a billboard as it does on a phone screen, let's talk. We'll capture the moments that make your audience stop scrolling and start planning.
