Champion Ford: "A Champion for Joy"

A Christmas film about a broken family keepsake, a father's quiet act of love, and the joy of giving something meaningful a new beginning.

The Challenge

Give "Champion" a meaning people can feel.

Christmas is filled with traditions that become part of a family's story. The decorations brought down each year. The familiar box. The keepsake everyone knows to handle carefully.

For Champion Ford, we built a holiday spot around that emotional connection. A story that gives the dealership's name a human meaning: someone who shows up, cares deeply, and finds a way to make things better.

Our Approach

A small story with generations behind it.

Something worth saving

Two sisters are decorating the Christmas tree when their grandmother's stained-glass star falls and breaks. Their disappointment is immediate. So is their father's understanding of what that star means. He gathers the pieces and heads out in his classic Ford Bronco. On Christmas morning, the girls discover what he has done: the broken glass has become cross necklaces. A familiar family treasure, transformed into something they can carry with them.

A natural place for the brand

The Bronco belongs to the father's story. It carries him out into the night as he works to turn disappointment into a Christmas surprise. That connection gives Champion Ford a place in the emotional arc, with the closing line bringing the story and the brand together.

"A champion for joy, piece by piece."

Production

Thirty seconds. A complete emotional journey.

The film moves from anticipation to heartbreak to discovery within a single holiday story. Each scene gives the audience another piece of the picture.

01

A home filled with history

Warm Christmas lights, familiar decorations, and the box labeled "Grandma's Star" establish a tradition before anything goes wrong. Those small details give the broken ornament its emotional weight. The shift from the intimate glow of decorating to the brightness of Christmas morning carries the story toward its resolution.

02

Performances that make it personal

The sisters' expressions establish what has been lost. Their father's response creates the possibility that something can still be done. Close framing keeps the focus on those exchanges, giving the final reveal room to land.

The Result

A name connected to an act of love.

A 30-second television spot that connects Champion Ford with family, care, and the determination to bring someone joy. The closing message grows directly from the father's actions, giving the brand a meaningful role in a story about carrying traditions forward.

Craft

The meaning is in the details.

Planting the story early.

The labeled box establishes the star's significance in the opening moments. Its colored glass becomes the visual connection between the accident and the gift, allowing the audience to recognize what the father has preserved.

Making every piece matter.

The final necklaces resolve the story on two levels: the girls receive something beautiful, and their connection to a family tradition continues. "Piece by piece" becomes both a description of the gift and the idea that holds the film together.
